New version of the electoral decree, the locks are off

The third version of the electoral decree of the Alix Didier Fils-Aime era was published by the government on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, in Le Moniteur. The new document removes several provisions deemed too restrictive for some candidates but which represented essential safeguards for the credibility of the process.
