As the deadline for voter registration approaches, the registration and voting centers (CIV) are seeing fewer visitors.

In the registration and voting centers (CIV), future voters are becoming increasingly rare as the days go by. This observation is particularly noticeable at the center located at the Georg Ohm Mixed Institution in Delmas 75, which we visited on Thursday, October 1, 2026. The doors of this center open at 8 a.m. every day of the week. However, by midday on Thursday, October 1, only five citizens had registered as voters. The number did not exceed fifteen by the time the office closed around 4 p.m.
