Lycée Marie Jeanne: A Long Search for a Place to Call Its Own

It is 10 a.m. on September 21, 2026, when we are welcomed by the principal of Lycée Marie Jeanne, Yonisse Alusma. The institution, which for the past few months has been operating on the premises of Collège Sœurs de la Charité de Saint-Louis de Bourdon and Institution Sainte-Rose de Lima, is doing its best to cope with the challenges associated with this new school year. In the tree-lined schoolyard, dozens of benches are stacked in different corners while the students enjoy their break.
