French President Emmanuel Macron has appointed Gautier Lekens as France’s ambassador to Haiti. The diplomat will take office on September 7, replacing Antoine Michon. Gautier Lekens himself announced his appointment on his LinkedIn account, referring to “a new chapter” in his professional life.
