Minister Raina Forbin Convenes Religious Leaders to Discuss the Electoral Process

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship (MAEC), through its General Directorate of Worship, organized a presentation and dialogue meeting on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, with nearly one hundred religious leaders and representatives of the country’s various denominations concerning the launch of the electoral process. Minister Raina Forbin and the president of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), Jacques Desrosiers, emphasized the role religious leaders can play in promoting civic participation and supporting the electoral process.
