The Port-au-Prince Prosecutor's Office has announced stronger enforcement efforts targeting the presence of underage girls in the capital's nightclubs and hotels. The Government Commissioner attached to the Port-au-Prince Court of First Instance, Me Jean Fritz Patterson Dorval, said a weekend duty team has been established to conduct inspections of these establishments. According to him, the objective is to prevent the sexual exploitation and sexual abuse of adolescent girls between the ages of 15 and 16.
