President Jovenel Moïse: Five Years On

Five years ago, on July 7, 2021, the country awoke to the news that President Jovenel Moïse had been assassinated in his home.

Five years later, it feels as though the crime was committed only yesterday. Those who were arrested in the days that followed are still behind bars. Some of the individuals who were wanted after July 7, 2021, remain at large.
