The Gang Suppression Force (GSF) announced this Thursday, May 14, the arrival in Port-au-Prince of Mongolian Major General Erdenebat Batsuuri, the new commander of the force deployed in Haiti. In a post published on the social network X, the GSF stated that it welcomes “Major General Erdenebat Batsuuri as Force Commander.” According to the statement, the Mongolian officer possesses “more than 30 years of experience in military command and United Nations peacekeeping operations.”
