Law enforcement forces engaged in a process of reclaiming territories in the downtown area have made progress. For the first time in several years, armored vehicles of the Haitian National Police (PNH) operated in Martissant over the past week. From now on, Le Nouvelliste has learned, it is the law enforcement authorities who decide the routes that public transport vehicles linking Port-au-Prince and Carrefour must take, and not the bandits.
