A Kenyan officer of the Multinational Security Support Mission (MSS) died from his injuries after a traffic accident on Sunday, August 31, 2025, in Pèlerin, a suburb of Pétion-Ville. According to a statement issued by the MSS spokesperson Jack Ombaka, at 9:30 p.m. the officer and a civilian were declared dead in a hospital in Pétion-Ville.
