Inauguration of the sports and socio-cultural center in Cayes by the President of the Republic

On June 10th, President Michel Martelly inaugurated a sports and socio-cultural center in Larco, a city in Les Cayes. The inauguration took place in the presence of officials including Colonel Himmler Rébu, Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action, and Tsai Chiu Hwang, Ambassador of Taiwan in Haiti.

This multidisciplinary center has several playgrounds (football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and athletics) and can accommodate several thousand people. This is the 11th sports complex to be built in two years under the Martelly administration. President Martelly is proud of the work that has been achieved in Les Cayes.
