As of Monday, September 14, the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) had registered online three presidential candidates, 68 Senate candidates and 205 candidates for the Chamber of Deputies. Alongside online registration, the CEP is inviting candidates to submit the documents required for their candidacies from September 13 to 22. At the same time, only 25 political organizations out of the 105 approved have been able to register their 30,000 members, a condition legally required in order to nominate candidates.
