The Ministry of Culture and Communication Haiti announced on March 3, 2026, the official submission of the archive collection of the newspaper Le Nouvelliste for its inscription in the UNESCO Memory of the World Register. This initiative is being carried out jointly by the MCC, the Permanent Delegation of Haiti to UNESCO, and the Haitian National Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO, as part of the Haitian state’s efforts to preserve and promote its national documentary heritage.
