Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé has made the first appointments in his new government. Serge Gabriel Colin, former Director General of the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES), has been appointed Minister of Economy and Finance. Kesner Romilus becomes Director General of FAES, while Chesnel François has been named the new Director General of the General Tax Directorate (DGI), Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé told Le Nouvelliste on Monday, February 23, 2026.
