As the mandate of the CPT members approaches its end in about a month, political actors and civil society groups engaged in discussions have still not reached a consensual proposal on an alternative to the Presidential Council. In the meantime, as is often the case whenever power is up for grabs, proposals are proliferating—binding only the few signatories of these documents.
