Texon Mercy, a driver and mechanic of the Haitian National Police (PNH), was killed in Kenscoff on Sunday, September 14, 2025. According to a PNH press release, the victim lost his life during an attack by bandits against the armored vehicle he was driving in Obléon. This occurred while members of specialized units were coming in as reinforcements to a team of soldiers stationed in the commune who were under attack by heavily armed individuals.
