Haiti's Premier Athletes Forum Declared a Success

Initiated by the Athletes Commission, presided over by Josué Déprez, the headquarters of the Haitian Olympic Committee in Bourdon hosted the first Athletes Forum on December 2. The primary initiator deemed it a great success, drawing a large crowd.

The event commenced with a visit to the COH Olympic Museum and the introduction of the Athletes Commission members. Around thirty invited athletes from fifteen federations then took their seats for the inaugural forum organized by the Athletes Commission, observed by some members of the Haitian Olympic Committee.

Former heavyweight judoka Joël Brutus, a Pan American Games silver and bronze medalist in Santo Domingo (2003) and Rio de Janeiro (2007), respectively, skillfully led discussions on "Athlete Transition." Adv
