“We will not reach the 5,500 members within the FRG during the month of October as previously planned,” revealed Igor Rugwiza, spokesperson for the Gang Suppression Force (FRG), invited to the morning show of Magik9, on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, specifying that forecasts have changed due to logistical concerns.
When questioned about the deployment schedule, Mr. Rugwiza avoided answering, citing operational reasons. However, Igor Rugwiza explained that the FRG is in the deployment phase and that new contingents are expected to strengthen the ranks of the Force.
