CEP Meets Political Stakeholders Amid Ongoing Concerns Over the Electoral Process

The two days of meetings last Thursday and Friday between electoral council members and leaders of political organizations were not enough to dispel stakeholders’ concerns about the electoral process. Concerns surrounding the electoral decree, the calendar and the government’s actions remain.

As the Electoral Council moves forward with the electoral process intended to lead to the holding of the first round on December 13, more and more political actors are expressing concern about the implementation of the electoral calendar, the elec
