The ceremony took place in the presence of outgoing FNE Director General Élysée Colagène, several ministers from the current government and officials from the institution. In his remarks, MENFP head Vijonet Déméro praised the management of the outgoing Director General, saying that he had ensured sound management of the institution. Déméro invited the new Director General to follow the leadership model established by her predecessor. He also urged her to protect her image, that of her family, her professors and her university.
