Transitional Presidential Council Members Sworn In at the National Palace

In a clandestine manner and in a small gathering, the members of the Presidential Transition Council took their oath very early Thursday morning at the National Palace.

In secrecy, Smith Agustin; Louis Gérald Gilles; Fritz Alphonse Jean; Edgard Leblanc Fils; Laurent Saint-Cyr; Emmanuel Vertilaire; Leslie Voltaire; Régine Abraham; and Frinel Joseph officially took their oath Thursday morning, April 25th, at the National Palace, in front of a small audience.

The nine members of the Presidential Transition Council then received official honors from the National Palace guard and the band. They are scheduled to proceed to the Reception Villa for speeches and a reception.
