Haitian Armed Forces Still Awaiting Resources...

The visits of Prime Minister Ariel Henry to the headquarters of the Armed Forces of Haiti (FAd'H) have not yielded anything significant. The high command of the army is still waiting for resources from the government to get involved alongside the National Police in the fight against insecurity in the country, several sources close to the FAd'H told the newspaper.

Five days after the decision of the High Court of Justice of Kenya to prohibit the dispatch of Kenyan troops to Haiti as part of the Multinational Mission to Support Security, the high command of the Armed Forces of Haiti has not yet convened on the matter. However, sources close to the FAd'H contacted on Monday by Le Nouvelliste considered this decision by the Kenyan High Court as a surprise.
