Visit of Minister Emmanuel Ménard to the National Archives to follow up on employee concerns

Minister of Culture and Communication, Dr Emmanuel Ménard, made a surprise visit to the National Archives of Haiti in Delmas 75 early on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. According to a statement from the ministry, this visit comes less than fifteen days after a meeting with employees who voiced concerns about their working conditions. The minister announced the establishment of a monitoring and control unit for organizations under the ministry's supervision, as well as the revitalization of the Strategic Orientation Council. The National Archives, for their part, assure that their services continue to operate normally, both for users in Haiti and those in the diaspora.<\/p>
