According to Mr. René, the Haitian National Police (PNH) conducted an operation on Thursday, October 29, which resulted in the neutralization of around twenty bandits. In retaliation, the bandits, who received reinforcements, launched new attacks between Saturday and Monday, the mayor continued. They were only repelled thanks to the vigilance of PNH officers and members of the self-defense brigades in the attacked areas, he reported.
