Haiti elected for one year at the head of the administrative and financial commission of the OIF

Haiti has been elected to the presidency of the Administrative and Financial Commission (CAF) of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) for a one-year term, during the 134th session of the Permanent Council of La Francophonie. The announcement was made this Thursday, October 22, 2026, by the Embassy of Haiti in France, in a statement published on its Facebook page. As part of this mandate, Haiti will be responsible, along with the other members of the commission, for reviewing the budget forecasts of the OIF, controlling the execution of the budget, and ensuring compliance with the financial rules of the organization.<\/p>
