The National Police of Haiti (PNH) presented the report of its P4000+ program, one year after its launch. This report shows a total of 2,069 new police officers integrated into the ranks of the National Police of Haiti, including 394 women, from the 35th and 36th promotions. The release of the 37th promotion, the third cohort of the program, is expected at the end of October. Implemented with financial support from the United States via the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), the initiative aims to strengthen the personnel and operational capabilities of the PNH. The deployed officers, mainly in the West, are involved in securing strategic points and enhancing the police presence in a security context marked by significant challenges, the PNH indicated.
