In Displacement Camps, Uncertainty Reigns Even in the Plate

On the occasion of World Food Day, celebrated on October 16, displaced people in Haiti struggle to feed themselves. At the National School of the Republic of Ecuador, in Delmas 41, and at the Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Communications (MTPTC) premises in Delmas 33, people who fled armed violence live in precarious conditions. The lack of food, drinking water, and adequate shelter complicates their daily lives, while 5.83 million people experienced acute food insecurity between March and June 2026.<\/i><\/p>
