Doctors Without Borders (MSF) has cared for 2,485 victims of sexual violence in Port-au-Prince between January and May 2026, according to a report by UN experts published on September 3. Among them, 72% were raped by armed men and 64% experienced gang rapes. The majority of the victims were women and young girls, 16% of whom were minors. Children aged 8 to 10 years old are also among the reported victims.<\/p>
