The military profession is among those exposed to a high level of stress. In Haiti, police officers and military personnel operate in a context marked by violence, insecurity, and difficult working conditions. In recent weeks, several tragedies involving law enforcement agents have raised questions about their mental health.

Invited to the Panel Magik show on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, psychologist Pascal Néry Jean-Charles emphasized the necessity of better supporting police and military personnel faced with traumatic situations.
