The rule of law has seriously declined in Haiti, noted Marthel Jean Claude of the Professional Association of Magistrates (APM), speaking at Panel Magik on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.<\/p>
According to the magistrate, justice is one of the pillars of the rule of law. He laments that Haitian justice is not up to the task and explains this decline by the lack of financial resources allocated to the judicial system.<\/p>
