The Dominican sports authorities have highlighted the statements of Haitian striker Wilson Isidor to divert attention from the logistical shortcomings related to the match between Haiti and the Dominican Republic, suggested Edwin Paraison, president of the Zile Foundation.
On the airwaves of Magik9, Monday, October 5, 2026, Mr. Paraison acknowledged that the player's remarks "are controversial." He emphasized, however, that Wilson Isidor would not, in his view, grasp the sensitivity of the relations between Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
