More than 30 police officers certified by the French embassy after specialized training

The French ambassador to Haiti, Gautier Lekens, presented certificates on Friday, September 25, 2026, to more than thirty agents of the PNH, notably from the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ) and the Presidential Security Unit (USP), during a ceremony. These agents received training provided by French experts on intervention, operational command, the fight against corruption, and close protection. According to a statement from the diplomatic mission, this cooperation between France and the Haitian National Police (PNH) has been ongoing for several years. In 2025, nearly 500 Haitian police officers benefited from training provided by the RAID and other units of the French National Police, while ten trainings are currently underway in 2026 and new sessions are planned for 2027.
