The Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) Installs Its New Office, Led by Peterson Pierre-Louis

The Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) installed its new office on Thursday, September 24, 2026, now led by Peterson Pierre-Louis. He is accompanied by Jaccéus Joseph, vice-president, Nemrod Sanon, secretary general, and Schnaïda Adély, treasurer. The new office succeeds that of Jacques Desrosiers. During the ceremony, the CEP's general director, Uder Antoine, praised the work of the previous team and assured the new one of the administration's support. For his part, Peterson Pierre-Louis called for an inclusive and impartial electoral process. He notably encouraged dialogue with political actors and called for the rejection of violence and intimidation.
