Raina Forbin's Participation in CELAC

On the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship, Raina Forbin, participated on September 22, 2026, in the meeting of the ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) with the African Union (AU). In her speech, she called for transforming the historical ties uniting Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean into future-oriented cooperation based on shared interests and mutually beneficial partnerships. She also praised the efforts of African countries to restore security in Haiti.<\/p>
