FIFA President Gianni Infantino proposed on Monday "a consultation" of federations in order to reform the governance of the organization, in a letter to the 211 member federations, a copy of which was obtained by AFP.<\/p>
"I will propose that the FIFA Council organize a direct, structured and time-limited consultation with the confederations, member associations and relevant stakeholders on how to further strengthen FIFA's decision-making processes," wrote Gianni Infantino, as the international football federation is embroiled in a crisis following the revelation of an aborted plan to create a commercial entity open to private investors.<\/p>
