Barbados: the CNHRR participates in the 3rd CARICOM Regional Conference on Reparations

Port-au-Prince, September 16, 2026 – A delegation from the Haitian National Committee for Restitutions and Reparations (CNHRR), led by its president Dr. Dienseul Prédélus, rector of the State University of Haiti, and including Dr. Judite Blanc, will participate from September 17 to 20, 2026, in the 3rd CARICOM Regional Conference on Reparations, organized in Barbados. The delegation will notably take part in a roundtable titled “The Unfinished Work of Freedom: Reflections on Haiti and Decolonization.” The conference, themed “Restorative Justice as the New Age of Enlightenment,” is organized by the CARICOM Secretariat and the CARICOM Reparations Commission, with the support of the Barbadian government and international partners.<\/p>
