The Prime Minister Engages International Partners on Security and Elections

Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé chaired a working session on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, with Hélène Roos, representative of the European Union, Maria Velasco, representative of Sweden, Grégory Varennes, representative of France, Anna Maria Santos, representative of Spain, Catherine Pognat, representative of the Organization of American States (OAS), along with Michael Roudaut, political advisor to the European Union. The discussions focused on security, particularly the needs of the Haitian National Police (PNH) and the Haitian Armed Forces (FAd'H), as well as the electoral process and the support expected from international partners. The stabilization of the country, economic recovery, and institutional reforms were also addressed during this meeting.<\/p>
