The National Ozone Office (BNO), under the Ministry of Environment, organized a training session on September 1 and 2, 2026 for customs agents in Cap-Haitien on the detection and control of ozone-depleting substances (ODS). Conducted with the support of UNDP and in collaboration with Cap-Haitien Customs, this activity enabled over twenty agents to enhance their theoretical and practical knowledge on regulated substances, their detection, and the fight against their illegal trade. The training is part of the implementation of Haiti's commitments under the Montreal Protocol and the Kigali Amendment.<\/p>
