The Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) and the Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP) signed a memorandum of understanding this Wednesday to frame the implementation of two programs funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Signed by FAES General Director Kesner Romilus and Public Health Minister Bertrand Sinal, the protocol concerns notably the Community Program for Promoting Human Security in Haiti and the program aimed at restoring access to essential health services. It provides for interventions in university and departmental hospitals, Health Arrondissement Units (UAS), as well as the construction and rehabilitation of health infrastructures, in order to strengthen coordination between the two institutions and accelerate the implementation of IDB-supported projects.<\/p>
