The Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action, Pythagore Dumas, presented honor plaques on Monday, August 24, 2026, to captain Claremond Cédric, on behalf of all the players of the U-14 men's football team, as well as to the technical staff led by Jean-Marc Alexandre. These distinctions were also awarded to Monique André, president of the normalization committee of the Haitian Football Federation (FHF), to Patrick Massénat, secretary general of the FHF, and to Gally Amazan and Yvon Sévère, members of said committee. The Haitian team was welcomed on Monday, August 24, 2026, at the diplomatic lounge of Toussaint Louverture International Airport upon its return home after its victory at the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Challenge Series 2026, held in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
