Canadian Ambassador André François Giroux Honored at the End of His Mission in Haiti

Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé paid tribute on Friday to Canada's Ambassador to Haiti, André François Giroux, on the occasion of the end of his two-year mission. The ceremony took place in Port-au-Prince, in the presence of Foreign Minister Raina Forbin, government members, and representatives of the diplomatic corps. On this occasion, government officials praised the commitment of the Canadian diplomat and reaffirmed their desire to continue cooperation with Ottawa, particularly in the areas of security, institutional strengthening, and the electoral process.<\/p>
