The Iranian Foreign Ministry stated on Thursday that the sanctions and the "economic war" announced by Donald Trump against Iran constitute a case of "economic terrorism" and "crimes against humanity".<\/p>

"There is no doubt that the U.S. economic sanctions against Iran, which violate the fundamental rights of every Iranian citizen, constitute a case of +economic terrorism+ and +crimes against humanity+", the ministry said, according to Iranian news agency Irna. "Their authors and instigators deserve to be prosecuted and punished for committing such heinous crimes."<\/p>
