South-East: Arrest of a Prison Escapee for Criminal Association

The National Police of Haiti (PNH) arrested 35-year-old Nicolas Eddy, a prison escapee, on Sunday, August 16, in the locality of Bé Zoranj (commune of Bélans, South-East). Wanted for his alleged involvement in the attack on the Seguin sub-police station last April, he had joined the gang "5 segond" after his escape in March 2024. The individual is now under police control, while the investigation continues to determine his level of involvement, the PNH reported. <\/p>
