Internet and Mobile Service Disruptions Plague Users in Southern Haiti

For about two months, a large part of the population of the South Department has been facing significant difficulties related to mobile phone and internet services provided by the country’s two main operators, Digicel and Natcom. In several municipalities, including Les Cayes, Torbeck, Camp-Perrin, the South Coast, Aquin and Île-à-Vache, users report calls that constantly drop, unstable or nonexistent internet connections and an inability to communicate normally, despite the packages they have purchased.
