Albert Ramdin Briefs the OAS Permanent Council on the Situation in Haiti

“Significant progress has been achieved through political dialogue and coordination with Haitian stakeholders, CARICOM, the United Nations, and member states in order to help preserve institutional continuity and advance a Haitian-led transition. Preparations for the elections are also moving forward through the support provided to the Provisional Electoral Council and the continuation of the PUICA identification project, which helps ensure that citizens can obtain the identity cards necessary to vote,” declared the Secretary Gen
