Haiti called for increased coordination and sustained engagement from its international partners to address growing maritime security challenges, on the occasion of the 2026 Conference of the Organization of American States (OAS), held on March 18 and 19 in Panama, according to a statement from Haiti’s representation to the OAS.
In this context, maritime security appears as an essential pillar for the sustainable restoration of stability in Haiti.
