After Soupe Joumou, Cassava, and Compas of Haiti, the Ministry of Culture and Communication is working with Haiti’s Permanent Delegation to UNESCO to have the Vèvè Tracing inscribed on the List of the Cultural Heritage of Humanity. It was in these words that Frantz Délice, Communication & Culture Specialist at the Ministry of Culture, announced on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, the project to place a new facet of our heritage into global orbit.
