UN Security Council Votes for International Force in Gaza

On Monday, the UN Security Council voted in favor of Donald Trump's peace plan for Gaza, which includes the deployment of an international force, under pressure from the United States, which warned of the risk of renewed war.

On Monday, the UN Security Council voted in favor of Donald Trump's peace plan for Gaza, which includes the deployment of an international force, under pressure from the United States, which warned of the risk of renewed war.

Thirteen of its members voted in favor of the resolution. The US president hailed it as “one of the most important approvals in the history of the United Nations.”

Donald Trump thanked the countries sitting on the Security Council, including Russia and China, which abstained.
