August 18, 2025, adds to the list of dark dates for Haitian youth and for Collège Canado-Haïtien. A student of the institution’s 56th graduating class, Wanderson Zamy, also passionate about basketball, was struck down by a stray bullet, brutally ending his dreams and ambitions. Nineteen years old, he had just completed his secondary education and was awaiting the results of the baccalaureate.
