Three-Day Summit in Cayes Focuses on Security and Economic Growth in the Greater South

The three-day conference on security and investment was held on the premises of the Université Publique du Sud aux Cayes (UPSAC). Taking place from Wednesday, May 7 to Friday, May 9, 2025, the event was opened by Haitian Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, alongside the 59 mayors of the Southern Peninsula, all gathered under the Community of Municipalities of the Southern Peninsula of Haiti (CMPSH), as well as representatives from the judiciary, the Ministry of the Interior, and the Prime Minister's Office, among others.<
